REGULATORY DOCUMENTS
In Ukraine, the installation of facades in buildings, including logistic centers, is governed by regulatory and legal documents, with the primary ones being the State Building Standards (DBN). Here are several DBN documents related to facade installation:
- DBN V.2.6-31-2006 “Building Thermal Engineering”:
This document establishes requirements for the energy efficiency of buildings and their components, including facades. It sets minimum values for thermal resistance of facade materials and requirements for insulation and sealing of building enclosures.
- DBN V.2.2-3-2014 “Operation of Buildings”:
This document contains requirements for the operation of buildings, including the maintenance and repair of facades. It provides recommendations for preserving and restoring the exterior appearance of facades, as well as ensuring the safety and health of building users.
- DBN V.2.2-10-2014 “Accessibility of Buildings and Structures for Persons with Limited Physical Abilities”:
This document defines requirements for the accessibility of buildings for persons with limited physical abilities. It pertains to facades, including the placement of ramps, lift platforms, and other elements that facilitate the movement of individuals with limited physical abilities.
It’s worth noting that in Ukraine, there are also other DBN documents that may be relevant to facade installation, depending on the specific type and purpose of the building. For more detailed information, it is recommended to refer to the relevant DBN documents and local building regulations, which may additionally regulate the installation of facades in logistic centers.
